Google Pixel 6 series gets a major facelift

Google has launched one of its most awaited series of smartphones yet: Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. Many reviewers believe that it is Pixel’s most significant update, as they launched the phone back in 2016. Pixel phones have been launched to compete with premium or flagship phones such as iPhone and Samsung Galaxy series. But does the latest Google Pixel series live up to the hype? Let us find out.

• Features and specifications
  When it comes to design, Google Pixel 6 looks nothing like its predecessors. Google Pixel 6 has a horizontal camera bar stretching across the back of the phone. Its lenses and flash are spread across the horizontal bar, which is unique compared with other phones. At 6.4 inches, the phone is neither too big nor too small. However, it has a screen size larger than the latest iPhone 13 but smaller than OnePlus9. The phone has an FHD OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 90Hz, suitable for smoother scrolling and gameplay. One of the unique features is its refresh rate drops to 60Hz to preserve the battery.

  The Google Pixel 6 has upgraded its rear camera array. The main wide-angle camera has a major upgrade of 50MP to a mere 12MP in its previous version. The front camera is 8MP. Under the hood, the Google Pixel 6 packs 8GB RAM and Google Tensor CPU with Titan M2 powered by 4614 mAh. It has storage options of 128GB and 256GB so that you can store your favorite photos and download games and apps without worrying about brimming up.

  If you are an avid pixel fan but looking for better upgrades than Google Pixel 6, then Google Pixel 6 Pro may have something in store for you. The all-new Google Pixel 6 Pro has a larger screen of 6.7 inches QHD OLED display. While Pixel 6 has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, Google Pixel 6 Pro has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling and gaming experience. The refresh rate drops to 90Hz to preserve the battery. While there is an additional 48MP telephoto lens in its rear camera array, the front camera is 11.1MP.

  Under the hood, the Google Pixel 6 Pro has 12GB RM powered by an M2 security coprocessor. And if you are looking for bigger storage space, Google Pixel 6 Pro has an additional 512GB storage option as opposed to 128GB and 256GB in Pixel 6. The Google Pixel 6 Pro has a larger battery of 5003 mAh.
